This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on balsera.com.tr and how you can manage your preferences.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites you visit store in your browser. The browser's local storage may be used for similar purposes.

Strictly necessary cookies and browser storage

These are required for the Site to work and do not need consent:

  • NEXT_LOCALE: your language preference (Turkish/English). Deleted when you close your browser.
  • Session cookies (next-auth): only when you sign in to the professional portal or the admin panel; they keep you signed in and protect forms. Valid for up to 30 days and deleted when you sign out.
  • Your cookie choice: stored in your browser's local storage ("balsera-consent-v2") for 12 months; you are asked again when it expires or when this policy changes.

Error and performance monitoring

No cookies are used to monitor technical errors and page load times; these records are sent via our own server with personal data removed.

Third-party content: Google Maps

The map on the showroom page is loaded from Google Maps and shown only with your permission: if you allow the map on the cookie banner or under "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of the page, it loads when the page opens; otherwise it loads once, only when you click "Show map". When the map loads, Google processes your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, which are subject to Google's privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising cookies

The Site currently uses no analytics or advertising cookies. If they are introduced, they will be loaded only with your explicit consent and this policy will be updated beforehand.

Managing your preferences

You can choose "Accept" or "Reject" on the cookie banner; both are equally easy. You can change your decision at any time via "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of the page; if you withdraw your permission for the map, it again loads only when you click.

Browser settings

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some features such as language preference and portal sign-in may not work.
